We have been a family owned and operated business since 1997 making us one of the oldest locally owned and operated Personal Care Homes in the CSRA. Since Augusta is our home, we have a vested interest in serving those in our community and providing the best care and services around. Pendley Personal Care Home was started by Kim and Larry Pendley back in 1997. Kim had over 13 years of Federal Service before leaving the Augusta VA and has won many federal awards. Larry retired from Ft. Gordon as a Master Sergeant with almost 30 years of service. Today their two son’s James and Tim are also both serving our country and James works as the home’s Administrator.

In addition to working full-time at Plant Vogtle, Tim Pendley is currently serving in the US Army Reserves as a Combat Medic and NCO with the 391st Engineering Battalion out of Greenville, SC.

James is also a Combat Medic and served in Iraq during Operation New Dawn and is currently gearing up for another deployment to Afghanistan. He serves with the SC National Guard in the 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion out of Eastover, SC. He is also a graduate of the Army’s Licensed Practical Nurse Program where he was an honor graduate and received the Director’s Award for Excellence and the Commander’s Award for Leadership. He is currently a dean’s list student pursing his RN degree.
